Our Team
Amanda moved to the Seattle area with her husband and dogs in 2012. She currently has 2 dogs, a 15 year old Great Dane named Bjorn, and a 5-year-old Giant Malamute named Appa who thinks everyone is a friend he hasn’t met yet.
Amanda worked for the kennel for over 5 years when the previous owner decided she was ready to retire. Amanda’s mission is to ensure that the kennel continues to provide the hands-on care we’re known for over the last 54 years.
Amanda enjoys her many roles at the kennel. She enjoys working on the kennel’s marketing components, including website building, social media, and videography. Her favorite part is being hands-on with your pets both in the office and throughout their stay.
Amanda is Pet CPR certified.

#weensforever
Sydney is one of our Assistant Managers, and helps ensure the kennel runs smoothly day to day.
She grew up in Washington and has spent most of her life either outdoors, with animals, or both! Sydney has a spunky Pomeranian who knows he’s the king of the world and a Black Lab that begs to differ. When she’s not at work, she prefers to be hanging out with her family and dogs, four wheeling through muddy trails, or experimenting in the kitchen. Sydney has a special place in her heart for dogs and cats that take longer to warm up and she won’t quit until they are best friends.
Sydney is Pet CPR certified.

“My favorite thing about my job is seeing all of the different animals and their personalities. It’s the little things an animal does that can make my day!”

She has two cats and a dog at home but also often has multiple fosters under her care.
